Sometimes right before I take off polish, I do a bit of stamping. I do this for the following reasons:
- It’s great for testing out different stamp designs. This design was hard to stamp because you had to get the placement just right.
- Testing out different top coats over stamping. Essie Good to Go and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri smear the stamping, while Seche Vite is perfect still.
- If I like how it turns out, I stretch the manicure a couple more days.
So, this is what I did tonight. Although, I’ll be taking it off soon…
Base Color: Nicole by OPI All Kendall-ed Up
Stamping Color: Konad White
Stamping Plate: Cheeky Plate A
What a great (why haven’t I thought of that) idea!
I can not tell you how right you are about Essie smearing the stamp! I thought it was just me coating it to soon… I’m not alone! :)
Hi, I’m about to purchase my first stamping kit, I thought any nail polish will do but from what I’m reading, that’s not so. My collection is consists of Essie, OPI, Butter London and American Apparel, to name a few. Are the specific nail polishes for stamping a must? or can I do without and use my stash of nail polish…?
Can these cool plates you linked to be bought from them directly? As amazon still doesn’t accept paypal :((
