Nail Stamping

Rescue Beauty IKB: 2012 & pink stamping

I’ve been on a White Collar watching spree on Netflix. Anyone else watch that show? So addicting! While watching this afternoon, I decided to do a bit of nail stamping. I haven’t been in the mood for it lately (I got through phases), but I absolutely love this combination! :)

Base Color: Rescue Beauty Lounge IKB: 2012 (limited edition)
Stamping Color: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Presto Pink 210
Stamping Plate: Bundle Monster BM-310 (both designs are on one plate)
Top Coat: Seche Vite

Essie Bikini So Teeny With Dots + Pedicure nightmare

Wearing some dots today. :) The dots are from a Cheeky plate and were sort of hard to stamp. It was strange. I was trying to be super careful but you can see that some of the dots are warped. I think I need to practice a bit more with this one. :)

Anyhow, here are some dots!

Base Color: Essie Bikini So Teeny
Stamping Color: Konad Special Polish White
Stamping Plate: Cheeky CH6
Topcoat: Seche Vite

Pedicure Nightmare

In other news, I had an awful pedicure over the weekend. The technician cut my toes multiple times! I’ve always heard that you should never trim your cuticles, but just push them back. I generally don’t have much dead cuticle to work with anyway, so I’ve never had to warn anyone to NOT trim my cuticles. Anyway, before I knew it the tech was going to town on my toes and making me bleed! Nip! Nip! Nip! I could feel her cutting my skin!

I should have spoken up sooner. Learn from me, people! SPEAK UP AND TELL THEM THEY ARE HURTING YOU! She was going so fast, I just assumed it would be over quickly. Three days later and I still can’t wear socks or closed toe shoes because they rub against my healing WOUNDS. :(

Dude. Never again. I’ll just do my own dang pedicure, thanks.

Three-Color Nail Stamping Manicure

Having fun with more nail stamping. :) This time I tried stamping with three colors all at once…

Top Coat: Seche Vite

Oops! You can see some stray Mannie fur in these photos. I suppose I should have waited until after taking pictures to scratch his ears. ;)

White with Black Lines Stamped Manicure

Happy Sunday, all!

I have a simple yet striking manicure for you today. When I first saw the BM-319 plate in the new 2012 Bundle Monster pack, I really wanted to try this design using black and white. I think it’s just so modern looking. :)

Anyhow, enjoy! I also filmed the manicure as well. :)

Base Color: China Glaze White on White, Nicole By OPI It’s All About the Glam
Stamping Color: Konad Special Polish Black
Stamping Plate: Bundle Monster BM-319

Princess Nails?

This color and stamp combination makes me think of princesses for some reason. The green just needs to be slightly more blue and I would say they are Princess Jasmine nails. :)

Please excuse the chip on my thumb and the obvious tip wear. I did this manicure two nights ago and am just now getting a chance to take a photo.

Base color: Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Chlorophyll
Stamping Color: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Silver Sweep
Stamping Plate: Bundle Monster BM-306

Nail Stamping Image Plate Storage

Last week as I was picking out images to stamp on my nails, I was completely fed up with my lack of organization when it comes to the plethora of nail plates I’ve acquired over the last couple years. I went to Google and started searching. There were some great solution, but none that I liked more than this so I wanted to share it with you all! :)

I wish I could take credit for this idea. It’s brilliant!. I’m not sure who originally came up with this idea since I found it in multiple places online. Anyhow, here’s my nail stamping image plate storage solution…

Teal Pattern Stamping Manicure

I’m still trying out the new 2012 Bundle Monster image plates. As I was looking through all the designs, the pattern on plate BM-315 stood out to me. I also wanted to use a new color from Rescue Beauty called Jack In the Pulpit (available in a few weeks, I think. I pre-ordered). It’s such a pretty dark green that leans toward teal. So pretty!

I’m still SO impressed with the Bundle Monster plates. Just as Sammy found, the detail on these plates is amazing. :)

Stamping Color: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Mint Sprint
Stamping Plate: Bundle Monster BM-315

Blue Rays Manicure (NEW 2012 Bundle Monster image plate & Rescue Beauty Faraway Nearby)

I had a happy mail day on Saturday. Not only did my pre-order of Rescue Beauty Lounge’s Georgia On My Mind collection arrive (as swatched by the ever famous Scrangie), but so did the new 2012 Bundle Monster image plates. Yay! So excited for both of these!

So I tried out one of the polishes and one of the plates for a stamped manicure. I chose Faraway Nearby as the base color and stamped with BM-301 (the very first plate I saw as I opened the package) using Konad Special Polish in Light Blue. Such a fun rays design! Sort of makes me want to paint some clouds on it. :)

Patriotic 4th of July Manicure

Hi all! I’ve had a 4th of July manicure on my to-do list for ages, mostly because I knew it would take ages to get it done! LOL! This was my second attempt and it’s much better than the first. :)

Here I used white for the accents, but in my first attempt I used silver. The silver just didn’t pop as much (you can see it in a card how-to video I did earlier today), and I had some application issues, so I was more than happy to take that manicure off this afternoon and start over. And these are the results! :)

Base Colors: Nicole Listen to Your Momager (blue), A-England Perceval (red)
Stamping Color: Konad White
Stamping Plates: Konad m84 (stars), Cheeky Jumbo Image Plate I2 (diagonal stripes & pointer finger)
Heart: China Glaze White on White
Top Coat: Seche Vite

Things to note:
I created the small heart with China Glaze White on White and a dotting tool. I just dotted two dots close together to form the top of the heart and then “drew” the bottom of the heart with itty bitty dots. Also, the tip on my pointer finger smudged a bit after stamping so I ended up painting just the tip with White on White to clean it up. I ended up liking that better anyway. :)
