Sorry for not posting for SO long, guys! I’ve been posting nail pictures on my Instagram, though. Be sure to check those out.
Anyhow, this is definitely not one of the gruesome, scary Halloween manicures out there. Yikes! I’m definitely more of a Casper the Friendly Ghost type of Halloween celebrator. :)
Here are the details on each finger…
- Thumb: Essie Orange It’s Obvious with Cheeky CH6 plate stamped in Konad Special Polish in white
- Pointer Finger: OPI Black Onyx with Bundle Monster BM-H07 plate stamped in Konad Special Polish in white
- Middle Finger: Essie Orange It’s Obvious, Zoya Darcy, and OPI Alpine Snow, with China Glaze Fairy Dust on top
- Ringer Finger: OPI Black Onyx with Cheeky CH10 plate stamped in Konad Special Polish in white
- Pinky Finger: Essie Orange It’s Obvious with Orly Tiara on top
All nails were topped with Seche Vite topcoat. :)
I want candy corn nails! Your nails look adorable!
How totally cute are your nails?? I love them!!
Love the candy corn. Is that a stamp? How did you
do it.
I painted the tip of the nail white and the other end orange. Then I applied a topcoat and let it dry completely. Then I put two bands of tape around the center of the nail, and painted the yellow stripe in the center. Before the yellow dried, I peeled off the tape masks.
LOVE!!!!!
Your nails are soooo cute! ; )
Hi Kristina! Quick question: I always have the problem that when I use tape, it peels away the nail varnish, e.g when doing a French manicure……is there a special tape that you use? Also, I find that because I have large nails, the stamps don’t really cover my whole nail and I’m left with gaps at either side. Is there anything that you can suggest? Thanks for taking the time to read this. Danielle :-)
I usually put the tape on the back of my hand first to take away some of the stickiness. That usually works.
As for the designs being too small, you might just have to be a little creative… Maybe stamp it at a diagonal, or something like that. My thumbs are usually just a tad bit too wide, too.
Thanks a lot! Will give it a go :-)
THANK YOU — after 52 years of living I decided it is finally time to stop tearing my nails. Of course, accidentally slamming the thumb nail in a door helped make the decision– After reading all about Konad stamp art & realizing that you are really into stamping (a past time hobby) I devoured everything. After your email response, I decided I was coming to the “dark side” LOL I went for my first manicure (that was for me not a wedding!) I went in thinking I will not come out with clear or pale pink…I chose a nude and a blue color. I did it! I came out of the nail salon wearing something called “Rocker Blue” & it shimmers . I can’t stop looking at my nails. Embracing color on my finger nails that are short, short IS AWESOME! I can’t wait to change the color but I think I should wait at least another day. Thanks for changing my life with all your special tips & videos!!!!!
That’s awesome! Welcome to the “dark side.” LOL! :)
