Julep Brielle

November 13, 2013

I received Julep Brielle in my latest Julep Maven box. While it’s an awesome autumn and Thanksgiving color, I found the polish to be quite goopy and hard to work with. It was opaque in one coat, but it definitely needed another to smooth out all the bumps and strangeness from the thickness of the polish.

Very pretty color! I put Julep on for the first time the other day. I liked the color but I found it to be thick and hard to apply. Wondered if it was old. Your nails always look perfect. Jealous! :). Have a great day.

Love to see what you have on your nails everyday. I just wanted to know how you keep them from chipping and breaking. And most importantly how you keep your cuticles so nice. I can never get the same results at home as I get at the nail place.
    Thank you!

Sadly, I have had similar results with several Julep polishes. Most are ok and glide on well, but then there are some which I can never get a good result with.
This color is perfect for Fall though!

Also! I finally got my hands on a bottle of Seche Vite! Oh my- how did I live without it before. It really does dry super fast and gives my nails a wonderful feel. I’m so used to top coats that take forever, bubble, drag the polish, etc., so this is such a wonderful find for me! I completely understand why you use it now!
