Like most nail fanatics who were too late on the scene to grab the elusive Essie Starry Starry Night, I’m always on the lookout for similar looks. There’s just something about dark blue with sparkles. Mine doesn’t look like Starry Starry Night, but it gets the job done and steers me away from Evil-bay where SSN goes for upward of $300. Ouch. :)
Base Color: Zoya Ibiza (see it on it’s own HERE)
Glitter: Northern Lights (silver)
I love this! I think I’m going to have to look into my stash to see if I can duplicate this look. :)
It’s a great look! Just wondering… Is there some reason you can’t add your own nail-safe glitter to Navy polish? Or top navy base coat with clear glitter polish (like clear rock candy Distress Stickles, only for nails)?
Looks like starry night! Indeed! Awesome!
Love this – reminds me of a starry night :)
Hi Kristina,
I used the combo of 2 coats of midnight camp (essie) followed by one coat of pure pearlfection (essie). I thought the combo looked very close to SSN……
love your blog!!
I had to google for SSN images and I have to say, I like yours better.
The Essie one looks just like a dark blue with some silver glitter… yours, on the other hand, looks like a truly starry night!
