Currently rocking A-England Avalon. Can’t get enough of that color. So pretty!

I’ve been super busy, as you can tell by the lack of posts here. :) I did have a failed attempt at a water marbling manicure, though. After a few fingers I gave up. It was much MUCH too messy (even with tape around my cuticles). Maybe one of these days I’ll try it again?

In the meantime, I’ve been loving things I see online…

Over at YouTube, MissJenFABULOUS shared this awesome braided manicure… (you can also see it at her blog HERE)…

And I’m in love with this manicure by Pshiiit. I have Essie Mint Candy Apple so I’m sorely tempted to recreate the look myself. :)

What are you admiring online recently?

I’m still on the hunt for stamping inspiration. I’m loving tone on tone stuff right now like this: http://www.fashionpolish.com/2012/03/guest-post-bregje-from-oooh-shinies.html and I’m on the hunt for the perfect pearly polish to stamp on CG For Audrey as I’ve been obsessed with it lately.

With regard to the water marbling, i think it takes a bit of practice and some trial and error. My friend Joy, at work, has been messing around with it for about two weeks and she’s now completely addicted AND a pro! She says it depends on the water temperature, room temperature is best, and she can get any brand to spread. She also likes to use something other than white as a base, so the edges don’t show as bad.

I am all about the olympic nails right now! I’ve done two different types, but the one I’m rocking right now is the thumb and pinky painted gold, the american flag on the pointer, olympic rings on the middle, and the british flag on the ring finger. You can see here:
