Rescue Beauty Lounge Black Russian

April 13, 2012

I’ve been eying Rescue Beauty Lounge polishes for a while now and finally ordered a few polishes a couple weeks ago. They’re not the cheapest polishes in the world, but I’ve heard the quality of the polish is amazing. It’s hard to order polishes online without seeing them in person, but I took a chance and I’m glad I did. :)

When the package arrived, I immediately fell in love with Black Russian and knew I’d chosen wisely. It’s the perfect blend of dark vampy polish and a bit of red shimmer. I took this photo in my hotel room without good lighting (out of town at the moment), but believe me the shimmer is more apparent in natural light. :)

LOVE the color! What do you think of the Butter London polishes? I love the colors I’ve seen on line, and I know you have some of them.
Also, will you do a post about what you do to your cuiticles before you paint your nails? How you prep them?

I only have a few Butter London polishes and for the most part really love them. :) And thanks for the post suggestion! :)

Gorgeous! I want to know how you keep your hands and cuticles in such good shape when you change polishes so often.

Can you do a post about taking polish off and cuticle care? Did you use to have silicone or gel nails and would you ever?

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll be sure to cover that soon.

As for gel nails or anything like that, the only thing I’ve done is that I had acrylic nails for about 6 months once a few years ago. I don’t think I would do that again since it was really damaging to my nail beds. It took a lot of time to get them back to normal. I’m intrigued by Shellac nails because it’s just color painted on the nails without any prep that requires filing the nail bed itself, but I hesitate to do that because I change my polish color so often. :)
