Dior Saint-Tropez + Gradient

I have a ton of polishes in two shades: red and aqua. And I also have only two Dior polishes as well–in red and aqua. I ADORE both polishes. (The red polish is the one I used in this video a few days ago).

Of all the aqua polishes I own, I repeatedly come back to Dior’s Saint-Tropez. Sadly, I don’t think you can find it anymore. I ended up buying it on eBay a couple years ago, and even back then it was hard to find. That being said, I just love it. The formula goes on like butter and it self-levels to a perfect finish. Just a lovely polish to work with.

(The red Dior polish I love, Rouge 999, is still for sale, though. The formula has been updated, but it’s the same color).

Anyway, this is Dior Saint-Tropez…

After painting my nails with Saint-Tropez, I thought I’d try another gradient. So I added Julep Monaco to the tips with the gradient sponging technique shown in this video.

Moving houses is murder on manicures

For six weeks or so, I’ve been in the process of packing and moving houses. One of the things from my usual routine that was pushed to the wayside was my regular manicures. Granted, my nails probably needed a bit of time without polish anyway, but I sorely missed it. :)

I’m just now starting to paint them again. Currently I’m at my old house, waiting while the carpets are being cleaned. Since I’m just sitting here, I thought I’d show you guys what I’m wearing today…

A-England Galahad & Guinevere

I have two cream polishes from A-England to show today. The first is Galahad…

And the second is Guinevere…

The application for both was the usual spectacular A-England application, although these definitely needed two coats. The first coat for both was a bit sheer and streaky, but the second coat evened everything out. Such pretty, soft colors. I love these two, especially for summer. And we all know I love aqua polishes. ;)

Aqua Blue Polishes Swatch Comparison

It’s no secret that I’m loving all the aqua blue-ish green polishes that brands are coming out with these days. Even though all the shades I own are rather similar, I just. can’t. help. myself. LOL! So, I broke out all my aqua polishes and thought I’d show the differences.

A line up of polishes are shown after the swatches. Bottles are in the order shown in the swatch photos. Enjoy!
