Rescue Beauty Lounge Jack

I’ve been sporting super simple manicures recently. I tend to go through phases when I want something more involved (stamping, gradient, etc), and then I go through “just the polish” phases. Currently in the later. It surely makes manicures less time consuming. Ha! ;)

Today I’m wearing Rescue Beauty Lounge Jack. Such a pretty, deep teal. Perfect for fall. The shimmer is more apparent in the bottle or in direct sunlight. I sort of love the creamy look without the shimmer, too, so I love this polish in all lights. As usual, the RBL formula was buttery and smooth. :)

Oldie but goodie – Essie Wicked

Years and years ago when my nail polish obsession was just in its infancy, I bought Essie Wicked. I adored Essie Wicked. I think it was my exclusive polish for two or three months. Just couldn’t get enough of it. It wears well and seems to match everything.

It’s a dark vampy burgundy, slightly gel-ish, black indoors and rich red out in the sun. It’s just an awesome color.

So when I go through a nail polish funk (i.e. when I don’t feel like doing super fun nail art or stamping), sometimes I go back to Wicked. It just makes me happy. :)

P.S. This photo below makes it look really purple, but it’s really a color shifter! Depending on the lighting, Wicked can go more red, more brown, more black. It’s an awesome color.

Rescue Beauty Lounge Black Russian

I’ve been eying Rescue Beauty Lounge polishes for a while now and finally ordered a few polishes a couple weeks ago. They’re not the cheapest polishes in the world, but I’ve heard the quality of the polish is amazing. It’s hard to order polishes online without seeing them in person, but I took a chance and I’m glad I did. :)

When the package arrived, I immediately fell in love with Black Russian and knew I’d chosen wisely. It’s the perfect blend of dark vampy polish and a bit of red shimmer. I took this photo in my hotel room without good lighting (out of town at the moment), but believe me the shimmer is more apparent in natural light. :)
