Unfortunately when I wore this color for the first time it was a bit bubbly. But I think that was because of my topcoat. The particular bottle of Seche Vite that I used was old, sticky, and I think I was in a hurry when I applied it. But I’ve worn DJ Plat That Song one more time since. I used a newer bottle of Seche Vite and had no problems with bubbles. :)Pin It
Super glittery purple polish. :) I painted two coats of A-England Avalon and then two coats of Girly Bits Purple Potion…

Today I have a purpley-periwinkle polish called Fancy Pants from the China Glaze Avant Garden collection. I ended up stamping on top of it, but first here are the plain polish photos. It looks much more blue-ish in person. I love the subtle pink shimmer in it…
Then I did some stamping on it. :)

I’ve worn and swatched this color before, but I’m really feeling it today: Zoya Charisma. Unfortunately, since it’s a neon color, it doesn’t show up in pictures like it does in real life. It’s quite a bit different than what you see here. It’s a bit of a chameleon…
EDITED TO ADD: I forgot to mention that you can get 10% off your order at winstoniastore.com through April 30, 2013, by using the code DAILYSOMETHING. Thanks, Winstonia!
Winstonia sent me their stamping plates to review and they arrived yesterday. Couldn’t wait to try them out! I’ll have a more thorough review later after I’ve tried a few more designs out, but for now here’s some polish and stamping. As for a short review, I had no problems stamping this one design. I used a regular Konad scraper and stamper.
I think this almost looks like a Halloween nail design! LOL!
From start to finish… First, I painted two coats of A-England Avalon (it’s the perfect purple under the glitter polish I wanted to use)…
Then I added one coat of Smitten Hocus Pocus. I don’t want to run out of this glitter polish so that’s why I layered it over the A-England Avalon. The purples are perfectly matched. :)
For the stamping, I used Winstonia plate W108 and Essie No Place Like Chrome (silver) to stamp a “paint dripping” tip. There were a couple nails that I didn’t get the design on the complete tip of the nail, so I went over the tip with the silver polish.
Base Color: Nicole by OPI Show You Care
Stamping Color: Essie Nothing Else Metals (YES, the Essie metallic polishes stamp well)
Stamping Plate: Bundle Monster BM-310
NOTE: I wore the purple polish by itself for a day and then added the stamping. So there’s a bit of tip wear visible in the photos. :)
Cirque Fascination Street is a tad bit sheer (you definitely need 3 coats), so I decided to layer it over one coat of A-Englad Avalon. Purple over purple. Perfect! I love the holographic sparkle in this polish. The photos do not do it justice! In person it’s just gorgeous!
You can get Fascination Street from Cirque HERE. They ship fairly quickly. I received my order about a week after I placed it.
BTW, I took these photos 3 days after I painted my nails. Like most polishes with glitter or holographic specks in them, it wears well and resists chipping. :)
Thanks for stopping by! - Kristina
